Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers the strongest teams in the IPL have fought it out in the first Qualifier match and CSK stood victorious in it. SRH being the highest point earner in IPL 2018, as per the tradition of IPL, gets another shot at entering the final by playing it out against the winner of Eliminator match in the Qualifier-2.

Since KKR won in the Eliminator match that took place between Rajasthan Royals and KKR, the next highest point earners of IPL 2018. In order to, qualify for the finals, KKR must pass one last hurdle, that is, win against the losing team of Qualifier-1, SRH, in the second Qualifier match and whoever wins this match, enters the finals of IPL 2018.

The battle in this most crucial match between SRH and KKR is going to take place in the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The match is taking place in the home ground of KKR. But it cannot be said that KKR is at an advantage over the Sunrisers as Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match against KKR in Eden Gardens in the Leagues. 

Both the teams have played against each other in the league matches and each of them had won over the other, once. Both KKR and SRH possess some of the best players in the world. KKR comprises players like Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Chris Lynn, Kuldeep Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, Nitish Rana, etc. most of whom hold a place in the top lists of IPL 2018. Both Dinesh Karthik and Chris Lynn hold a place in the top 15 run scorers list. Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav hold a place among the top wicket-takers.

SRH possess players like Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson, Carlos Braithwaite, Yusuf Pathan etc. SRH has fantastic bowling and batting squad. Kane Williamson, who is leading the SRH team is currently the highest run-scorer in the IPL 2018. Sidharth Kaul and Rashid Khan hold 3rd and 4th positions in the top wicket-takers in IPL.

Since the two teams are equally strong the match is tough to predict but can be thrilling as ever.
